Modern Garden with Pergola and White Flower Borders

A dark slatted pergola shades a paved dining terrace beside a neat lawn, with raised white borders, clipped shrubs and white flowers.

A dark metal pergola frames a dining terrace paved with large, pale slabs. White raised beds surround the seating area with slender trees, clipped shrubs, ornamental grasses and white flowers. Horizontal timber fencing provides a warm backdrop, while a rectangular lawn keeps the layout open and orderly.

Combine white agapanthus and hydrangeas with rounded evergreen shrubs, ornamental grasses and slender olive trees. Use pale paving, white rendered planters and timber screening to contrast with the dark pergola. Leave enough space behind each dining chair to pull it out without blocking the surrounding paths.
